A car slammed into four vehicles parked on the side of westbound Magic Mountain Parkway across from the Westfield Valencia Town Center on Friday.

The driver of the car declined to identify himself to a reporter but remained at the scene following the collision to answer sheriff’s deputies’ questions and provide insurance information to the parked cars’ owners.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies were called to the scene shortly before 4 p.m. Friday. The driver’s vehicle hit a gray Dodge Dakota pickup truck parked at the side of Magic Mountain Parkway, setting off a chain-reaction collision involving a blue Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, a white Dodge Ram pickup truck and a red Jaguar.

The Dodge Dakota pushed the others car about 15 to 20 feet up the street.

No one was injured in the collision, including the driver of the car that set off the chain reaction. His vehicle appeared totaled.
