A group of local high school baseball players got together to celebrate the time and memories created on the fields together since 2005.

These boys all played together on a travel team called the Sidewinders. They played in numerous tournaments in Southern California, Colorado, Nebraska and Cooperstown as 10-year-olds and again as 12-year-olds.

They fostered their love of baseball together, and each and every one of these players continued on to represent their local schools: Hart, Valencia, Saugus, West Ranch and Quartz Hill in Antelope Valley.

Five of these players graduated this year, some going on to play the next level, and some will hang up their ball bags. The rest of the players plan on putting in the work for next season.

Sidewinders coaches – Bobby Phillips, Mike Jackson and Brent Spurlin – are so proud of every single one of these players and are grateful for the lifelong friendships that were built from this little travel team.

Congratulations Sidewinders!
