The Starbucks Coffee at 23880 W. Copper Hill Drive in Valencia is one of about 40 other California Starbucks' stores scheduled to close, according to the company's Web site.

"The timing of specific store closures depends upon a number of factors," a Starbucks Coffee Company spokesperson said Tuesday. "Some of the impacted locations will be closed by the end of April, with the remainder closing by the end of the fiscal year.
We are not able to provide specific details on each store. International store portfolios are currently under review. We will share more specifics as closure plans and partner notifications are in place."
