Saugus Zone 4 Crime Report: burglaries investigated

Good afternoon Saugus. The following crimes were reported in the Saugus area over the past week:

There was a residential burglary in the 28900 block of Garnett Canyon Road on May 30th between 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The victim stated she returned home from shopping and discovered multiple items missing from her residence. It was determined that entry was made through a possible unlocked window. Detectives are working the case.

A second residential burglary occurred in the 28600 block of Farrier Drive on May 26th. The suspect was seen entering a garage and exiting with miscellaneous property. Deputies responded to the location and located the suspect a short distance away. The suspect was arrested without incident.

A vehicle was stolen from the 21400 block of Carol Sue Lane on May 28th. An acquaintance of the victim took the vehicle without her consent. Deputies are actively searching for the suspect.

There were multiple arrests made over the past week in the Saugus area. The arrests include weapons charges, assault, burglary, narcotics and vandalism.
