There were two grand theft autos reports in Zone 8 last week. The first incident was reported near the 18000 block of Jakes Way.  A 1992 Toyota Previa van was stolen from the location.  The second theft occurred near the 17800 block of Ness Drive.  In this incident a 2006 Toyota Tacoma was stolen.

A burglary was reported at the Canyon Country College of the Canyons campus.  In this incident campus security found that the main buildings front was pried open. They also found that there was damage to a key box inside the office.  They were unable to determine if anything was taken.

A residential burglary was reported near the 16800 block of Goodvale Road.  In this incident the rear sliding glass window was shattered and the suspects made entry into the house.  The suspects stole approximately $13,000.00 worth of jewelry from the victim’s home.

I would like to thank all of the people who came out to “Starbucks” on Monday for the “Coffee with the Captain” event. We had a very good turn out and a lot of positive feedback from the residents in Zone 8.
