RED FLAG WARNINGS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING FOR THEMOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS OF VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES COUNTIES FORGUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY....NORTH TO NORTHEAST FLOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS VENTURA AND LOSANGELES COUNTIES THROUGH MONDAY...BRINGING WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS.ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS OF VENTURA COUNTY...WIND GUSTSBETWEEN 35 AND 50 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY THISAFTERNOON...WITH SOMEWHAT WEAKER WINDS TONIGHT AND MONDAY.HOWEVER...RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL DROP NOTICEABLY INTO THE SINGLEDIGITS TO MID TEENS TODAY...WITH WIDESPREAD SINGLE DIGITS HUMIDITYEXPECTED ON MONDAY. OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES TONIGHT WILL BE POOR. DUETO THE NORTHEAST WINDS AND DRY AIR MASS...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHERCONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS VENTURA AND LOS ANGELESCOUNTIES...AND RED FLAG WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE VALLEYAND MOUNTAIN AREAS THROUGH MONDAY EVENING.ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...THE OFFSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED TO STRENGTHENACROSS THE AREA. THIS WILL RESULT IN CONTINUED WARMING ACROSS THEAREA WHILE KEEPING RELATIVE HUMIDITY AT VERY LOW LEVELS. IN FACTBY WEDNESDAY...MOST COASTAL AND VALLEY AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO BE INTHE 90S TO LOW 100S. DUE TO THE INCREASE IN OFFSHORE WINDS AND THEVERY WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS MAYCONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA.
