First place
If I were an animal, I would be a penguin. I would love to be a penguin because you can waddle and swim very fast. Also, you can talk to penguins with "penguin language." I could also name myself because I won't have a name. I would love to be a penguin because I would never get cold with my thousands and thousands of feathers. These are all the reasons why I would love to be a waddling penguin.

Second place
If I could be any animal I would be a wolf. I would be a wolf because I would love to live in a pack, hunt, and howl at the moon. Wolves are very awesome.
Also, I would love to live in the mountains and keep my puppies safe. Wolves have both a very hard and a very easy life. It's hard because they must hunt and make sure they don't get killed. It is easy because they are usually very cautious about things.
I would eat meat, howl, be part of the pack and fight. I would also have a pack leader. I would have to listen to him and respect him. Most likely it would be a male. I would teach my puppies how to hunt and when to howl at the moon.
If I could be any animal I would be a wolf. They have amazing lives. Wolves have to lead hard and easy lives.

Third place
I would like to turn into a bat because bats can fly with their eyes closed. The second reason is that some bats can suck blood. The third reason is that they use ecolocation. Finally, the last reason is that bats hang upside-down. Bats are cool.

If I could be an animal I would be a penguin. I would be a penguin because I would be able to swim a long time underwater by holding my breath. I would also never be cold in snow because I would be fat and have a lot of layers of skin. I would slide on ice on my belly into the water to get food. That is why I would be a penguin.

If I were an animal I would be a raccoon because because I think they're very sneaky and I like to be sneaky, too. I also like their markings around their eyes. Their bushy tails are also very unique. They go out during the night to dig holes in backyards and search for food. Even though I don't like digging holes or searching for food in trash cans, it's fun to sneak around at night. That is why I would be a sneaky raccoon if I could be any animal.

If I were an animal, I would be a penguin. I would want to be a penguin because penguins live mostly on snow and ice. They get cute, chubby stomachs and short flippers. One thing horrible and deadly about being a penguin is that you get eaten by whales and other sea animals sometimes.
Penguins have furry hands and no arms. When they're babies they get furry stomachs and fuzzy heads. You also get to wander around and slide down snowy hills or icy mountains.
The best thing of all about being a penguin is you don't have to do schoolwork! Instead, I get to play with my other penguin friends and that is why I would want to be a beautiful, cute, chubby and fuzzy penguin.

If I could be an animal I would be a tiger. I would be a tiger because tigers are one of my favorite animals. They are also beautiful and very graceful. If I needed to protect myself I could just use my natural weapon: my claws. I would enjoy walking through the jungle and climbing up tall, mossy trees to catch some food. My specialty would be cleverness and I would use it only when I needed to. The feeling of the light mist on my face while I take a leap to catch my prey would be the best feeling in my life.
As a tiger my life would be dangerous, but easy because I would be the queen of the jungle. My gracefulness and my beauty would take the breath away of anybody watching. The one day I could be a tiger would be the best day of my life.

If I were an animal, I would be an insect that can be a pain-in-the-neck. This insect is a bee. Bee stripes are yellow and black and might blend in with a garden of sunflowers. Did you know that a bee's stinger is sharper than a sewing needle? Bet you didn't! Bees are fascinating animals that are fast flyers who pollinate flowers and love honey! Sweet!

If I were an animal, I would be a bunny named "Cookie" because they are so cute and fluffy. I would nibble on carrots and other fruits and vegetables and I would be kind to my owner. I would love being an animal because it would be a different life for everyone. I hope that it could come true because my opinion of bunnies is that they are the cutest animals on earth and that they love everyone! I hope to be a bunny someday!

I want to be a big, green spotted frog in a rain forest. They get to jump, hop and leap on lilly pads. They also croak and eat flies and crickets. Tree frogs are very friendly and they can stick to almost any surface.
I have a frog like this at home and her name is Princess. I want to be like Princess because I would like to hop, leap and jump just like her.

If I were an animal, I would be a lion. Lions are my favorite animals and baby lions are very cute! Even though I am a girl, I would want to be a boy lion because I love boy lions' furry manes. Some people are scared of lions, but I think they are cute. I would also want to be a lion because they have a loud roar. I could scare off hunters and other people or animals. I would love to be a lion.

If I were an animal, I would be a turtle. I would be this creature because every year, thousands of turtles both wild and domesticated are killed. I would try to make a change and raise the population of this endangered reptile. Without turtles, the ecosystem would take a turn for the worse. Nothing would be the same, so becoming a turtle would help out a lot with the growth of these lovely animals.

If I were an animal, I would be a dog. I chose this animal because many dogs get trained to go to hospitals and cheer up sick or unhealthy patients. If I were a dog, I would play and help the patients to find happiness. Any kind of dog can help: little dogs, big dogs and dogs who are loving and caring. I think helping people find happiness would be amazing to do - especially for a dog!

If I were an animal, I would be a dog because you could be any kind of dog: a house dog, a wild dog, or a helping dog. But the most important dog to me is the helping dog. I would help people through life. It would be awesome knowing that I could help disabled people. I know I would be a great helping dog.

I am big and grey. I lurch through the thick, dark forest at night looking for prey. I come upon a shadow and I see fresh meat. I pounce on my prey and kill it. I hunt in a pack. Greedily, I eat all the food instead of sharing. I live in a deep, dark hole called a den. If I were to be any animal, I would be a wolf!

If I could be an animal, I would want to be a monkey because I could jump on branches and have cute little baby monkeys. I could be sly and take keys away from humans. Experiencing being a monkey would be great.

I would want to be a blue jay. I would be a blue jay because they can fly. Also, blue jays can get pollen from flowers. Blue jays can stay safe by living in the trees. Blue jays can fly up to about 100 feet in the air. Blue jays can go about 40 miles per hour.

If I could be any animal, I would want to be a dolphin. I would want to be a dolphin because I could see how much fun it would be and I could see cool stuff under the water like starfish, sharks and octopi. Also, I would like to jump out and into the water - that would be fun. I would see lots of underwater colors, too.

I want to be a snow leopard because it lives in the snow, and I like the snow. They pounce and jump and they run fast. They chase away hunters. They eat meat, and I like roasted meat. They have sharp teeth to chew meat. They have fur to keep warm. They sleep in caves and can see in the dark.
