Brave New World throws "Geeks Singles Night" from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday, April 17 at their store, 22722 Lyons Ave., Newhall 91321.

The evening includes live music from such bands as The Edge of Man and Crime After Crime, plus food, games, giveaways and raffles.

TV and Web personality Mo Rocca will host the event, to be covered by a CBS Sunday Morning news crew.
