The SCV Pregnancy Center (SCVPC) is excited to announce new HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) screenings for local residents. SCVPC is a licensed medical clinic, and the first 100 residents calling for a HIV screening receive the service free.

100 confidential screenings will be offered on Tuesday and Thursdays between 9:00am and 5:00pm by appointment only at 23838 Valencia Blvd, Ste 270. Interested residents should call Clinic Services at (661) 255-0082 to confirm an appointment.

“The only way to know you have HIV is to be tested. Many people with HIV don’t have any symptoms. In the United States, 1 in 5 people living with HIV don't know they’ve contracted the virus. Our Center is dedicated to offering services like HIV screenings to discourage the spread of this virus in the Santa Clarita Valley”, commented CEO Angela Bennett.

The SCV Pregnancy Center was started in 1987 by a small group of Santa Clarita residents who envisioned FREE pregnancy testing services, options and services to teens and women. SCVPC increased services to include limited obstetrical ultrasounds in 2008 and March 2014 added STD (sexually transmitted disease) testing. Since inception SCVPC has served over 17,000 local teens and women. The Center’s mission is to provide relevant medical services in a caring and professional atmosphere to those facing unplanned pregnancy and sexual health decisions. Each team member is committed to service, education, and quality care, while serving the needs of the community.

For more information about the free screenings, please Ashley Prange at (661) 255-0084.
