Racism is just illogical

Aristotle, the ancient philosopher, is right on the money when he considers the nature of racism. A person’s skin color is nothing but an accidental occurrence.

That is to say, a person’s skin color is not an attribute because nothing was earned in obtaining it. Therefore, to advance skin color as a superior race is absolutely absurd,

That which one earns through hard work — not by accident — one has the right to feel proud of,

A great musician, a great painter, a great philosopher — those are attributes obtained over personal toil, and thus one has the right to be lauded and venerated for them.

Skin color is not an earned attribute. Instead, it just happen to come about. Therefore, nobody has the right to feel proud of it.

Although many people would agree with that solid logic, many of those same people advance the absurd notion of white supremacy.

After all, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “People should be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

The historical doings of the KKK — which supports white supremacy — has no logical basis in reason, Yet for some strange reason, even though they know better, they advance their racist views of white supremacy over and above the logic of integration of the human species.

Some people refuse to accept solid logic — even when some of the greatest minds of all time endorse such logic — and instead cling to their racist views of white supremacy.
