A 16-year-old boy was found stabbed on a Canyon Country bike path Friday night but refused to provide information about the stabbing to authorities, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Department Sgt. Gary Parker said.

The juvenile was found Friday after 6 p.m. on a bike path near Sierra Highway and Soledad Canyon Road with two stab wounds to his upper torso, Parker said.

The victim was transported a hospital where he had a collapsed lung but was determined to be in stable condition.

He refused to provide information about the stabbing to deputies, Parker said.
