The Santa Clarita STARS National Dance Team who trains at The Dance Experience dance studio will be competing at the Stars Regional Dance Competition to be held April 17-18 the Valencia High School Gymnasium.

The team will be competing among 250 STARS dancers, from six different teams across California and Oregon.

The Santa Clarita STARS Dance Team is an Elite Competition dance team that includes more than 90 dancers ages 5 to 18 from over 25 local schools. The Dance Experience trains two competition teams: Santa Clarita STARS Pre-Team and Showteam. The STARS Pre-Team and Showteam also perform locally at many events and is under the direction of Holly and Kevin Diaz.

The public is welcome to attend the dance competition. 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday April 17 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18. For
