Stevenson Ranch: Zone 3 Update - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information

Snapshot for the week of 03/31/2014 to 04/06/2014
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station
Crime Prevention Unit

Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch:

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 24800 block of Pico Canyon Road. An unknown suspect shattered the rear right passenger window of the victim’s vehicle and took a cellphone and laptop computer.

A petty theft occurred near the 25700 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect took several gallons of used cooking oil from the rear of a local business.

As a reminder, please make an effort to lock your vehicles whether you are out running errands or parking in
your driveway. Remember to secure all valuables in your trunk prior to leaving your residence, or leave them
at home altogether. Most vehicle burglaries are crimes of opportunity and can be avoided by locking your
doors and not leaving valuables in plain view.

As always, please call or email me if you have any questions.

Thank you,
