Equal pay and Obama credibility

On the heels of the “Lie of the Year” about keeping your own health care and the bogus numbers of Affordable Care

Act signups, Barack Obama is now telling lies about equal pay for women.

What’s shocking is that Obama’s own White House is paying its women staffers only 88 percent of male staffers’ wages.

When Obama was a senator, his women staff were paid only 78 percent of what men were paid. How can he now campaign on an issue that he has so grievously violated?

In his State of the Union address, Obama claimed that women still make 77 cents for every dollar a man earns, but he purposely omitted several factors.

Almost twice as many men work longer hours, most men have been trained or educated for better-paying jobs, or they take jobs that require more risk, which pays higher.

Select the Internet browser of your choice and type in “equal pay” and you will find a universal chorus from both sides debunking the statements that Obama is claiming about equal pay for women.

His statements are not true and he knows it, but it makes a great political sound bite.
Despite these untruths and his terrible track record, he still plans to make this a campaign issue.

Considering the beating he has taken in the polls on the falsehoods he has said about health care, it boggles the mind that he would be using this issue to try to regain his credibility.

It would be like Bill Clinton going on a crusade to be true to your wives.
