Bob Love, director and producer, said this year’s show will be faster and more action-packed. Highlights include:
n Jeff Ezell, a professional magician who has been hired by the likes of Tom Cruise, Teri Hatcher and Nancy Reagan, will involve the audience in his performance.
n A special “Future Stars of Magic” segment will showcase the talents of IBM’s youngest magicians, who wowed the crowd last year with their reenactment of a famous Houdini illusion.
n Canyon Country resident Tim Jennings will make the audience laugh as he performs magic that people may have seen only on TV, but without any camera tricks.
“We will also have many new surprises, including a live rabbit pulled from a hat and the mysterious levitation of a young woman,’” said Love.
Doors open at the Newhall facility of the Boys & Girls Club, 24909 Newhall Ave. at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. for parlor and close-up acts; stage shows will be held at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
