The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a 23-year-old Valencia man whose body was found Tuesday morning in his home.

Matthew Joshua Linden had not been seen since Friday.

When a family member went to his apartment in the 25000 block of The Old Road around 10:30 a.m., he was found dead, according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

Winter said the death is being investigated. He said autopsy results may not be available for up to eight weeks.

Linden, who would have turned 24 in June, was enrolled at College of the Canyons through last fall, college spokeswoman Sue Bozman said.

“He was a student in good standing,” she said.
