This week we had 2 Part-1 crimes reported in the Saugus area. The first was a grand theft from an unlocked vehicle between March 8th and March 10th in the 21900 block of Mikhail Street. The victim stated that he discovered multiple items were stolen from his unlocked vehicle overnight. Help protect yourself from becoming a victim of these types of crimes. Please remember to lock all of your doors and windows when leaving your vehicle unattended. Remove all items of value or place them in an area out of view from possible criminals looking to perform a crime of opportunity.

We had a shoplift reported at CVS in the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on March 11th. The witness saw a male conceal a bottle of wine in his jacket before leaving the store. Deputies were unable to locate the suspect.

There were multiple arrests made over the past week in Saugus. The arrests include possession of a weapon, narcotics and DUI.

If you have any information regarding the above mentioned crimes please call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121.
