Stevenson Ranch: Zone 3 Update - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information

Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch:

(2) Commercial Burglaries, (1) Vehicle Burglary, (1) Grand Theft, (1) Shoplift and (1) Petty Theft

A commercial burglary was reported near the 25500 block of Fountain Glen Court. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s detached storage closet and took travel bags and clothing items. This incident occurred between December 2013 and March 10, 2014.

A commercial burglary occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. A male suspect attempted to purchase several Apple Ipads with fake gift card. The suspect fled the location when confronted by loss prevention personnel. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 23500 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took tools ands and the vehicle’s registration and insurance cards. There were no signs of forced entry.

A shoplift/burglary occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. A female suspect was detained by loss prevention personnel after walking out of the location with a cart full of items she failed to pay for. The suspect was subsequently arrested by responding Santa Clarita Station Deputies.

A petty theft occurred near the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road. The victim left a cellphone unattended at the basketball court of the location and when the victim returned to retrieve the cellphone, it was gone.
