The Indians came out with a lot of momentum scoring four of their 12 runs in the first inning.
Hart pitcher Destiny Rodino pitched a complete game no-hitter.
Her only blemish was a hit-batsmen in the second inning.
"She's been so consistent this year. That's why I call her 'The Rock,'" said Hart head coach Steve Calendo. "Pressure doesn't affect her. She's been solid all season. We can't ask for anything more."
Rodino has surrendered only six earned runs in 87 innings this season, leading to the Indians' solid 13-3 start.
The UCLA-bound junior attributes the team's success to its attitude.
"We have a very high morale," Rodino said. "We are playing really well as a team."
Hart's defense was a key factor, as well, playing mistake-free softball.
"We were playing defense extremely well," Calendo said. "We were doing all the little things right."
Christie Lincoln and Jessica Shults were both big for the Indians, hitting home runs in the third and sixth innings respectively.
The Indians scored their final run in the sixth inning with Alexis Caso coming in off an Allison Lewis single.
Hart is now 3-0 in the Foothill League.
"We had a very strong preseason and we built up this momentum and brought it into league," Calendo said.
As for the Cowboys (3-11, 0-2), head coach Mike Rego is hoping his team can become more motivated in order to compete in the tough Foothill.
"We know it's going to be a fight," Rego said. "The team has to motivate themselves in order to be competitive."
Rodino retired the last three hitters for the Cowboys in the sixth inning to preserve the win.
Canyon will face Golden Valley next at Golden Valley while the Indians face Saugus.
