The season will continue for at least one more game for Hart High girls soccer, which earned a No. 5 seed in the CIF Southern California Regional Division II Soccer Championship.

The brackets for all the regional soccer finals were announced on Sunday afternoon.

Hart will travel to play the No. 4 seed Santa Margarita High team at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in the opening round of championship made up of eight teams.

Santa Margarita beat Edison 3-0 on Saturday to win the CIF-Southern Section Division I championship. On the same day, Hart lost 3-2 to Chino Hills in the Southern Section Division II final.

The CIF holds Southern California Regional championships in Division I, II and III in girls and boys. Each eight-team bracket is made up of four Southern Section teams, two Los Angeles City Section teams and two San Diego Section teams.

The CIF does not conduct an all-encompassingstate championship for soccer.

This will be just the second time a Santa Clarita Valley girls soccer team will play in a CIF regional game, following Saugus in 2009.
