"The program assists residents with code compliance issues," Mayor Frank Ferry said. "The Block Party kicks off the event, inviting residents to meet city officials and learn how the city can best assist them in bringing their properties up to code."
The city will work to provide possible improvements to public rights of way, including tree planting, graffiti removal and helping secure volunteers who can provide help to individual residents in need.
