City launches public meeting Web page

Residents may keep up with all things Santa Clarita-related by visiting the city Web site's new "Public Meeting" page, which provides issues to be discussed in upcoming City Council meetings.

The page allows residents to be better prepared for public comment at meetings. The city upholds the Brown Act, which requires public access to municipal meetings and requires that elected officials hear public comment at such meetings.

Subcommittee agendas featured on the new Public Meeting page include those for the city's Redevelopment Agency, Arts Advisory Committee, Legislative Subcommittee and more. Visit www.santa-clarita.com/forms/publicmeetingnotices/.
