Stanley Howse, better known as rapper Flesh-N-Bone, of the platinum-selling rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, was arrested after deputies said they found a gun, ammunition and drugs in his Canyon Country home on Thursday.

Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's deputies pulled over Howse, 35, for an alleged traffic violation at 5:30 p.m in the 27400 block of Lise Lane, Lt. Robert Lewis said.

Howse was released from prison in 2008 after serving a sentence for a conviction on weapons charges and currently is on parole, Lewis said.

"When you are on parole, deputies have search conditions where the suspect can be searched at all times," Lt. Mike Dunkle said.
"(Deputies) contacted his parole officer, who approved a search of the suspect's home."

Deputies found a gun, two empty ammunition magazines, a box of ammunition and a small amount of marijuana when they searched the home, Lewis said.

Howse is being held without bail. He is due in Santa Clarita Superior Court on Monday.
