Backward priorities: Fish over people

California’s Central Valley farmers are facing some of the worst drought conditions they have ever seen.
Growers of the rich asparagus, broccoli, onion, tomato, lettuce, and garlic crops may be 60 days away from running out of water altogether.

This man-made drought is due to environmentalists fighting to divert millions of gallons of water away from the parched locals and to an endangered fish habitat for the sake of a three-inch fish, called the Delta smelt.

These passionate fish-fighters put animals above people, who are made in God’s image. They are willing to sacrificeAmericans’ health, productivity and the economy for the sake of a short-lived, bony-backed river dweller.

Meanwhile, these same defenders of the Delta smelt stand by as innocent children are killed in the “most vulnerable” habitat in America: the womb.

They hypocritically worry about the humane treatment of fish only to turn around and fight fetal pain bills in federal and state legislatures in America.

May God help us!
