Tykes, start your engines: There’s a new pint-sized thrill coming to Six Flags Magic Mountain in the Santa Clarita Valley this summer.

The theme park announced Tuesday that a new roller coaster dubbed “Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers” will become the fourth roller coaster in the park’s Bugs Bunny World children’s area.

“We are excited to introduce Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers to our coaster collection at Six Flags Magic Mountain,” said Bonnie Rabjohn, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor park president, in a news release.

“This time it’s a fun adventure for our littlest guests. The mini-coasters in Bugs Bunny World are the perfect training ground for aspiring thrill seekers at the ‘Thrill Capital of the World.’”

The ride will take children and parents on a roadster-themed track in miniature hot rod race cars, according to officials. The ride is expected to debut in early summer.

The addition of Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers will give Magic Mountain 19 roller coasters, a figure park officials say is more than any other theme park on the planet.
