Santa Clarita was listed in the top 20 best cities in the state for job seekers by a consumer advocacy website.
The city landed in the nineteenth spot, with an overall score of 55.7, according to NerdWallet.

Using U.S. Census and Bureau of Labor Statistics data between 2009 and 2012, the company looked at the growth rate of the working-age population, unemployment rate, and affordability levels for living in the city.

The number-crunching firm reported that Santa Clarita’s population growth rate had been 6 percent during the same time period.

Only cities with a population greater than 40,000 were included in the study.

The firm did not, however, take a look at how many of the job positions were locally based.

You can see the complete study here.
