SANTA CLARITA - A jury trial is scheduled to begin Monday for three suspected Los Angeles gang members accused of robbing a Canyon Country bank in September 2012.

The three defendants — Terion Lamarr Collins, Phillip Ely and Lavelle Mosley— are suspected of robbing a Bank of America in Canyon Country, threatening tellers and customers before leading law enforcement officials on a lengthy chase down freeways to Los Angeles.

After reaching Los Angeles, they allegedly left the freeway and began tossing money out the windows of the black Volvo SUV they were driving.

Prosecutors allege the three suspects are members of the Rollin’ 40s Crips gang.
