Stop red-light cams

I would like to expand the observations of the red-light cameras that ticket people at intersections, by observing the historical characteristic of government to always get bigger and more intrusive - never smaller.

I've always remembered the advice an old cop gave me long ago in my younger years when he said: "Always remember, no one can live and breathe for 15 minutes without breaking some kind of law, so when we want to bring somebody in, we can."

In today's world I would change "15 minutes" to 15 seconds, for that sound advice. We must remember also that the intent of government is to control people, not provide for "public safety" as they continually claim.

Control and subjugation of people is their game (coordinated with Washington, D.C., for Gestapo central control, of course) and "public safety" is their excuse.

We have to get rid of the red-light cameras and the rest of the intrusions by government into our private lives just so we will be able to get to work and the grocery store without being fined a week's wages or more.

These government cameras will eventually be used to control our movements when food and fuel rationing are imposed, justified by some manufactured terrorist or other threat.

We have to stop these cameras and the many other cameras, etc, our wonderful "leaders" intend to install, always "for public safety," of course.
