Stay Green Inc. Landscaping company brought home four 2013 awards from the California Landscape Contractors Association.

Included among the Trophy awards were two first-place honors — one each for “Medium Homeowners Association Maintenance” and “Small Commercial Maintenance” — and two outstanding achievement awards, one for “Unlimited Commercial Maintenance” and one for “Public Works,” a spokesperson for the company said last week.

Stay Green’s first-place awards honored the company’s work at the Starz Plaza, a commercial center in Burbank, and for the Treana Homeowners Association in Stevenson Ranch.

The outstanding achievement awards were received for Stay Green’s work on the Valencia Commerce Center, in the

“Unlimited Commercial Maintenance” category, and for the city of Santa Clarita’s Old Orchard T-2 Zone, in the “Public Works” category.

“We’re proud to work with great clients like those whose properties were recognized with these awards,” said Chris Angelo, Stay Green’s Stay Green President and CEO. “They share our passion for creating beautiful landscapes that are also sustainable and healthy for the environment we all share.”

Stay Green has more than 300 employees who work to maintain sustainable, beautiful and cost-efficient landscaping, Angelo said. The award from the state’s non-profit organization is recognition of that effort.
