The uncle problem

I have a couple of uncles I would rather forget, but I will admit they exist and I have met them.

President Obama has such an uncle and finally admitted he existed, and he really did meet him even though up until now the White House denied he had ever met him.

I can understand wanting to distance yourself from an illegal immigrant uncle who runs a liquor store. Since the uncle, Onyango “Omar” Obama, started talking, Obama has to admit he has this uncle and actually lived with him for a short time.

Maybe this uncle was such an embarrassment — kind of like Bill Clinton’s brother Roger — that he chose to forget about him. But I have my doubts.

I find it hard to believe that the NSA, Secret Service or any other government agency doesn’t know about every family member, friend or acquaintance Obama ever had.

The NSA seems to know everything about everybody. They know about all the phone calls you and I make.

Maybe he wasn’t vetted. He did, after all, just kind of show up on the scene from the community organizer world and became a novelty act that got himself elected through good PR.

I wonder how many other Obamas there are out there we don’t know about.

It isn’t the president’s fault he has such an uncle. But to just recently admit it is par for the course.

He skirts the Constitution on a regular basis and makes up his own rules as he goes along. If anyone really believes anything that comes out of the president’s mouth these days, I have a great health care plan to sell you.
