Game will also be streamed online

Tickets are on sale at Valencia High School and Hart High School for Friday’s CIF-Southern Section Northern Division championship game between Valencia and Hart.

The game will be played at Valencia High at 7 p.m.

However, as of Wednesday, both schools have sold about half of their allotment.

Hart High is selling to the general public today between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Valencia High until 3:15 p.m.

The game will also be streamed on Fox Sports West Prep Zone for people not able to attend.

Hart High officials tried to get Valencia to move the game to College of the Canyons’ Cougar Stadium, which seats approximately 2,000 more people. However that request was denied because the championship game must be played at Foothill League champion Valencia’s home site and COC is Hart’s regular season home.

Tickets are $5 for students and kids 14 and under and $10 for adults.

ASB cards or student IDs will not get any one into the game for free.

Valencia is selling 3,300 tickets, while Hart is selling 3,200.

Valencia High will be setting up extra seating behind at least one of the end zones.

Parking is limited inside Valencia High so school officials are encouraging people to carpool and get to the school early.

No campers or RVs will be allowed inside the Valencia High parking lot.

The stadium will open at 4:30 p.m.

This is the first time two Santa Clarita Valley teams have met for a football CIF title since Canyon beat Hart 21-13 in 2005.
