I'm glad Trudy Forsman is so proud of her husband's golf win in the recent AT&T golf tournament and applauded The Signal's online coverage of same ("Lasting impression: Forsman wins AT&T Champions Classic," March 16).

But when she wrote, "The pictures were beautiful - in spite of the old people who were in them!" I could hardly believe anyone could express themselves in such an insensitive manner.

This "old person" will forgive her because she is young but I hope she learns how to better express herself before she is "one of us."

Editor's note: Ms. Forsman's self-deprecating humor reflects a down-to-earth nature not often found among celebrities, age notwithstanding.
