Christmas tree shoppers will have a less soggy experience this weekend than they did Friday as a storm that dropped a trace of rain around the Santa Clarita Valley moves out of the area.

Sunny skies are expected to greet residents Saturday (change to today for print), with highs climbing to 72 and continuing their climb through the weekend.

By Monday a high of 79 is forecast under sunny skies, with another storm moving into the area Monday night and a slight chance of showers Tuesday and Tuesday night.
