The Shaffer Trucking terminal in Council Bluffs, Iowa, named Bryan Searcy of Saugus, Calif., "Driver of the Month" for January.

Searcy received a plaque and competes with drivers of the month from 13 other fleets for the company's Driver of the Year award, which is handed out in December.

To be named Driver of the Month, drivers must be accident-free for the month of recognition, maintain steady production, keep accurate logs and warrant no disciplinary actions stemming from complaints within or without the company.
