She is highly respected in the community, has served the city as a planning commissioner, is very active in many other community service organizations in the city and is endorsed by a great number of respected persons.
Her ethics are reflected in her statement: "It is the City Council's responsibility to maintain the public's confidence in government by conducting the people's business ethically, fairly, and openly, in a manner that is above reproach."
I write this as a resident of this community for over 45 years. Having worked here and raised my family here, I feel a deep love for this wonderful city.
We must have a City Council that respects the laws under which it operates. We need to know that the decisions they make, which have long-lasting effects on all of us, are serving our best interests.
Please go vote April 8!
