The Santa Clarita Master Chorale will present "Saints and Scoundrels" at 3:30 p.m. today at the Performing Arts Center, College of the Canyons, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Valencia. April 5
"The Newhall Incident" will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society. A retired Newhall California Highway Patrol officer, Harry Ingold, one of the first officers on the scene following the massacre, will speak on the 1979 tragedy where four young CHP officers were gunned down on April 5, 1970 in the lot of a Standard Service Station next to J's Coffee Shop on what is now the intersection of the Old Road and Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia. Held at the Saugus Train Station in Heritage Junction at William S. Hart Park, 24101 Newhall Avenue (formerly San Fernando Road) in Newhall. City of Santa Clarita Eggstravaganza. citywide egg hunts will be held at 10 a.m. April 11. Egg hunts will take place at Canyon Country Park, Central Park and Valencia Glen Park.
