Three vehicles, including a motorcycle, were damaged by A fire that broke out in the underground parking garage of a Valencia apartment complex Monday, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

Shortly before 2:40 p.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched to the 26000 block of McBean Parkway near West Del Monte Drive, a block south of Valencia Boulevard, said Inspector Anthony Akins.

“We had a vehicle fire in an underground parking garage,” he said. “When firefighters arrived they reported smoke showing from a multi-dwelling apartment complex.”

The fire was “knocked down” at 2:44 p.m., Akins said.

Besides the three vehicles damaged, there was no report of injury or structural damage.
