The College of the Canyons Theatre department will present the play "Noises Off," the Tony-nominated play written by Michael Frayn, at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at COC (PAC) four times in May.

"Noises Off" premiered in London in 1982, and won both the Evening Standard and the Olivier Awards for best comedy. In 1983, the production opened on Broadway and was nominated for a Tony Award before a subsequent Broadway revival in 2001.

Described by New York critics as "the funniest farce ever written," the comedy follows the on- and off-stage antics of an inept acting troupe as they stumble from bumbling dress rehearsal to disastrous closing night.

Show times are Thursday, May 7, at 8 p.m.; Friday, May 8, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 9, 8 p.m.; and Sunday May 10, at 2 p.m.

Admission is $5 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Group rates are available. For more ticket information, contact the PAC box office at (661) 362-5304 or visit www.canyonspac.com.
