Santa Clarita Valley residents are invited to help stamp out hunger this holiday season by donating nonperishable food items at The Signal for donation to the SCV Food Pantry.

The annual drive to help replenish the cupboards at the SCV Food Pantry has been rotating around town and is now open at The Signal’s office, 24000 Creekside Road in Valencia, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.

The Food Pantry is in need of all sorts of canned goods including vegetables, beans, meat products, tuna, fruit, soup, kids meals, mac and cheese, peanut butter and baby food, as well as diapers and formula. All food donated to the Food Pantry is given to needy Santa Clarita Valley residents.

Residents can drop off needed items at The Signal through Dec. 13.
