The College of the Canyons Foundation hosts its 2009 SCV Wine Classic at the California Institute of the Arts on Saturday, May 30, provide attendees to sample and buy fine wines and gourmet cuisines. Live and silent auctions feature a variety of wines and gift baskets.

Proceeds will benefit the SCV Student Orchestra and its three-tiered instrumental education program that has provided young musicians a creative outlet since 1969.

Tickets may be purchased by calling the College of the Canyons Foundation at (661) 362-3737 or by sending a check payable to the College of the Canyons Foundation to the foundation at College of the Canyons, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91355.

Tickets are priced at $65 each/$125 a pair through March 27; $70 each/$135 pair from March 29 to May 30; $80 each/$155 pair at the door; $35 each for designated drivers; and $65 each (10 minimum) for group sales through May 25.
