Stand and defend Jewish people everywhere

On Nov. 9, 1938, the Nazis began violent attacks on Jewish people and their properties, including the breaking of windows in Jewish synagogues and shops.

This Night of Broken Glass, just 75 years ago, was the beginning of Nazi Germany’s unmitigated ethnic cleansing, which we know today as the Holocaust.

Six million Jews were murdered in one of human history’s greatest tragedies.

Christians swore we would learn from the horrific revelations of Hitler’s ovens and “never again” allow such hatred to flourish. Yet today, anti-Semitism is reaching alarming new levels, while much of the Church remains silent or has become misguidedly “anti-Zionist.”

There are frightening parallels between Nazism and radical Islam today. From the hills of the West Bank to college campuses of America, anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism have infected modern society.

Let us not forget the horrors of the Holocaust. Rather, let’s stand with and defend the Jewish people everywhere.
