The Master's College Wind Ensemble concert set for April 2

The Master's College hosts their Wind Ensemble concert on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening of musical contrast. From the "Star War Trilogy" by John Williams (and arranged by Donald Hunsberger) to the piece "Were You There?" by John P. Lynch, the repertoire highlights music from both famous and lesser-known composers.

The repertoire captures a wide palette of emotional color as well, ranging from the starry nebulousness of "Apollo Unleashed," "mov't 3," "Symphony no. 2" by Frank Ticheli to the driving pulse of Samuel R. Hazo's "Ride."

The concert is free, and all are welcome to attend.

The concert will be held in The Master's College Music Recital Hall, 24736 Quigley Canyon Road, Santa Clarita 91321.
