Building industry veteran, Timothy Piasky, has been named executive officer of the Building Industry Association of Southern California’s Los Angeles/Ventura Chapter, according to a statement made to the media Tuesday.

Piasky replaced Holly Schroeder, who had been the Chief Executive Officer of the non- profit trade association.

Schroder became the president and CEO of the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation in September.

Piasky previously worked for the organization from 2000 to 2005 as the Director of Environmental Affairs, Legislation and Regulations.

A real estate broker and professional civil engineer, Piasky served as chief operating officer for Victory Homes of Arcadia from 2005 to 2010.

He also served as deputy director for Restore Neighborhoods Los Angeles Inc., and as chief redevelopment officer for Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County.

In his new role, Piasky manages the daily operations and staff of the Building Association’s chapter while working closely with the BIA Board of Directors.
