In response to Frank Arenson’s letter to the editor “Giving credit where credit is due” (Oct. 21):

I emigrated in this country from France a long time ago, and what I like the most here is that we can build our own business.

Mr. Horton may have an expensive home, a Corvette, etc., but he certainly worked hard, succeeded, and his employees must be happy to have a job.

I look at people like Mr. Horton as someone who does good for our country. Succeeding in America shall not be something we should be ashamed of.

Regarding Buck McKeon, this man is not unreachable. The last time I saw him was in a place that he visited.

I am not a politician, neither am I someone famous. But I gave our xongressman a hug and he answered my questions.

I found him very natural and very concerned for the people. In fact, I have approached him several times in my life, and never have been deceived by his attitude. He listened to me.

If Buck McKeon is well guarded, there are reasons for it. Aren’t they all in the Congress?

I am proud of our congressman. He cares for his constituents.
