SANTA CLARITA - A pizza delivery man was robbed by two men brandishing baseball bats after making a delivery in Canyon Country Thursday night, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Deputy Josh Dubin said the robbery occurred around 9:30 p.m. when two men, both described as in their 20s, reportedly approached the victim after a pizza delivery on the 27000 block of Karns Court in Canyon Country.

The two men then allegedly brandished baseball bats at the victim and demanded money, Dubin said.

The victim complied, Dubin said, and gave the two suspects an undisclosed amount of money. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot in the direction of Jason Drive, according to Dubin.

It does not appear the victim was physically harmed as a result of the robbery, Dubin said.

Anyone with additional information on the incident is encouraged to contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121. Tips can also be made anonymously by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
