Embryonic stem-cell research has not cured anything and has no current human trials, simply because the method so far has only produced tumors in animals. Yet, President Barack Obama has, by executive order, fulfilled his campaign promise to lift the ban on federally funded embryonic stem-cell research.

Meanwhile, adult stem-cell research has generated 78 cures and treatments for all kinds of diseases.

As a result, there are 1,200 human clinical trials currently underway. Besides the success among actual humans, it is relatively affordable.

Sound science would dictate that tumor-producing embryos not be used. Moral values would dictate that moral good cannot come out of the destruction of humans, in an early stage of their development.

As a result of this controversial, presidential action, human embryos will be destroyed by subjecting them to supposed scientific "research."
