A 19-year-old from Saugus has died following a car crash in Idaho earlier this week, according to a news release from the Idaho State Police.

Colleen N. Jackson was driving northbound in a 2005 Dodge pickup early Thursday morning when she approached a slower moving vehicle. She then made an abrupt lane change, moving from the right lane to left lane, according to the news release.

She overcorrected back to the right lane, causing her to lose control of the vehicle and for the vehicle to roll, according to the release.

Jackson was ejected from the vehicle along with two other passengers in the car, 23-year-old Weston J. Clements and 24-year-old Ross C. Barfuss. It appears none of the three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.

Barfuss was transported by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center while Clements was transported by ground to the same hospital, according to the news release.

Jackson died at the scene, according to the release.
