In your Signal Daybreak column on Feb. 28, you mentioned the fact that apparently Bush said about a year ago that we were not "recession bound" and that Obama said we were "on the brink of a recession."

Did you forget or not know that Bush had been warning banking regulators, as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac regulators, since 2002, that we were heading for real financial difficulties if policies were not tightened and he went largely unheeded for seven years?

Quoting one part of a statement from anyone is pretty sloppy; and misleading.
