Stevenson Ranch/Westridge crime report: Wedding ring stolen from residence

There were nine reported part-one crimes between the above dates. Here are some details regarding some of the reported crimes:

A grand theft was reported from the 26100 block of Salinger Lane. This incident occurred between 09/10/13 and 09/12/13. A wedding ring was reported stolen from inside of a residence. There was no forced entry reported. The case is under investigation as to how the ring could have been stolen, and who could have stolen it (Ref -13426).

A petty theft (shoplifting) was reported Walmart located at 25450 The Old Road. A 30 year old male suspect was arrested at the location (ref -13427).

A vehicle burglary was reported from the 25300 block of The Old Road. This incident occurred between 09/30/13 and 10/01/13. The right passenger window on the victim’s vehicle was smashed. A purse, IPod, and folding knife were stolen from inside the vehicle (ref -13472).

A vehicle burglary was reported from the corner of Steinbeck Ave and Browning Place. This incident occurred between 09/30/13 and 10/01/13. A laptop computer and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from inside the vehicle. The passenger window of the work van was smashed in order for the suspect(s) to gain entry into the vehicle (ref -13457).

A petty theft was reported from Sports Chalet located at 25560 The Old Road. Gasoline was syphoned from a delivery truck at the location (Ref -13456).

A commercial burglary was reported from West Ranch High School. This crime occurred between 09/30/13 and 10/01/13. A desk drawer inside an office was partially open and the locking mechanism was punched out. No items were reported stolen, however the investigation is on-going (ref -13535).

A vehicle burglary was reported from the 25300 block of The Old Road. This incident occurred on Saturday, October 5th 2013, between 3:00am and 8:00pm. A black portfolio containing miscellaneous paperwork was stolen from inside the vehicle. The passenger side window was found to be smashed (ref -13694).
