CARe counselors have already assisted many families who were affected by the recent Santiago Canyon, Corral Canyon (Malibu) and San Diego County fires.

The organization is a consumer advocate group funded through grants and private donations and receives no funds or money from any special interest groups.

All SCV families and individuals who were victims of the wildfires are encouraged to attend this free meeting.

Organizers suggest victims take a copy of their insurance policy and any related correspondence.

The SCV Senior Center is located at 22900 Market Street in Newhall.
